Celebrating Professional Growth: Kirsty’s Path to RSB Certification

Celebrating Professional Growth: Kirsty’s Path to RSB Certification

At Darwin Biological, we believe that continuous learning and professional development are at the heart of scientific innovation. One of our core values is fostering a culture where knowledge and skills are constantly evolving to meet the highest standards in the industry.

Today, we’re proud to celebrate Kirsty, our dedicated Lab Technician, who is working towards her Technical Skills Certificate accredited by the Royal Society of Biology (RSB).

Over the past year, Kirsty has demonstrated exceptional commitment to her professional growth. In June, she attended two intensive courses at York University:

Aseptic Techniques
Cell Cultures: The Basics

These courses provided hands-on experience in essential laboratory practices, ensuring that our work continues to meet rigorous safety and quality standards. In addition, Kirsty completed an online course on Leadership in a Laboratory Environment, further strengthening her ability to guide and inspire within the lab setting.

This achievement is more than just a milestone—it reflects Darwin Biological’s dedication to empowering our team with the tools and knowledge they need to excel. Kirsty’s hard work not only enhances her own expertise but also brings fresh ideas and renewed enthusiasm into our everyday practices. By engaging with other like-minded professionals in the scientific sector, she is helping to build a network of collaboration and innovation that benefits us all.

We congratulate Kirsty on her outstanding efforts and look forward to seeing the positive impact her skills and insights will continue to have on our work. At Darwin Biological, we know that investing in education and training is investing in the future of science—and Kirsty exemplifies that commitment.
