Environmental Responsibility
We take our environmental responsibility seriously and are always looking for ways to improve and promote greener working practices.
All of our specimens are British and preserved in-house, and we only work with suppliers with a proven commitment to animal welfare.
We refuse to pollute our planet unnecessarily, meaning we only use packaging that is reused, recyclable, and/or compostable.
Social Responsibility
Our team is committed to scientific education that is engaging, responsible and lots of fun, so that the next generation can be inspired to carry the baton forward. In line with this we support like-minded British institutions, such as the Linnean Society and Royal Entomological Society.
As a family company we believe strongly in flexible working that fits around our employees' family commitments and are proud to be a living wage employer.
Each year we give a percentage of our profits to charitable causes; we recently funded a tree planting scheme in our local village.
