This was my first purchase from Darwin Biological and my first time purchasing 'fresh'/unpreserved rats.
Dealing with Darwin was easy - my emails were replied to quickly and I was able to call and ask for advice about delivery times. Rats were held after my order was placed, and they were posted out, at the time of my request, on 24 hour delivery, in an insulated bag.
The rats were of very good quality but as it was my first time using unpreserved rats for dissection I was slightly unprepared for the subtle differences in appearance from the preserved specimens I would normally use. My students found this dissection a challenging one but they all thoroughly enjoyed the hours they spent completing it.
Great service, the fish heads arrived promptly, excellently packaged to keep them frozen
We purchased one pellet for a home education online primary science lesson and my daughter was fascinated with what we found inside and was an excellent activity and we leaned a lot. My only criticism is the hefty £7.50 postage cost which seems excessive to say the least for one tiny pellet that weighed virtually nothing. That said the pellet arrived in good time and was well packaged.
