Perry's pooters, or bug hunters, are clear plastic chambers designed to make catching insects easy, fun and safe. Place the clear tube directly above the small invertebrate you wish to collect and suck on the green tube. There is a fine mesh to prevent the insect from entering your mouth.

Sadly, due to the UK leaving the EU, we can no longer supply Northern Irish customers with any products the have codes starting with an 'L' or 'P'. This is due to the requirement for all live or preserved products to have an import licence specific to the customer purchasing and the product being purchased. As each licence takes 2 weeks to obtain, and involves a considerable amount of paperwork, we have made the difficult decision to stop offering these products to Northern Irish customers. We can still offer equipment, i.e. products with an 'E' code, as these simply require customs documentation.
We apologise for the inconvenience and if the legislation changes we will happily review our decision.
Delivery charges to the Isle of Man, Channel Islands (including Jersey & Guernsey), Shetland, Orkney and all the other islands we've missed, are the same as to mainland Britain (see above). The main difference is that delivery is likely to take a little longer, and for this reason we cannot guarantee next day delivery.
In addition, we cannot ship any liquids, so any 'wet' specimen ordered will be sent vacuum packed rather than in a jar.

I was interested to see how a pooter is made an how it works. The one supplied works fine, although its only suitable for tiny items like ants.
Pooter was fine arrived very quickly being used by my daughter who’s an environmentalist to remove insects from her home and also to study unusual ones however we did find the postage very high but I suppose you were used to sending in larger quantities to educational establishments
Thanks so much for your feedback and so glad your daughter is enjoying her pooter, as a result we've now added a 'Saver Delivery' option for non-perishable small orders. Thanks again, Meg
An excellent product. Well made and definitely not a toy!
Excellent service. The pooter is ideal for collecting micro moths. I would recommend Darwin Biological as a company.
growing really well and a lovely dark green
Excellent quality! Perfect from classroom demos - would definitely purchase again! Thank you so much!
These hearts arrive promptly and well packages. The hearts were entire ,with just enough tubes showing at the top.
Arrived on time, alive and active, Double bagged so no leakage. Worked well for the practical. The remainder were liberated humanly to nearby pond where they joined the circle of life as fish food.
