Malt Extract Agar is an acidic culture media designed to cultivate fungi, including yeasts and moulds, whilst inhibiting bacterial growth. These ready prepared sterile 90mm petri-dish plates are a valuable time saver.

Available in a pack of 10 or discounted pack of 30.

Each plate contains 18ml of agar and is 90mm in diameter.

Plates are supplied in a cellulose easy-open wrap. Keep refrigerated between 2 and 8°C.

As well as Malt Extract Agar in petri dishes, we also offer powdered Malt Extract Agar and ready prepared Nutrient Agar and MRS Agar.

Fantastic Malt Agar Petri

I have just started my journey into Mycology and wanted some hassle free agar plates to save time. This is first time ordering anything like this and definitely the first time from DB. It will not be the last!
