This concentrated algae growth medium is an almost universal medium for freshwater algae. It is manufactured by the CCAP and is ideal for Scenedesmus and Chlorella.
Store the media in a cool dark place or refrigerator and use prior to the expiry date (minimum 3 month shelf life supplied, usually far longer).
Supplied as a set of 2 vials totalling 9ml (enough for 1L of medium) or a great value pack of 20 x vials (enough for 10L of medium). The media is split between to 2 vials ('Part 1' and 'Part 2') to improve its shelf life. (Please note image needs updating)
