Schistocerca gregaria. Desert locusts are easy to care for, simply feed fresh grass and bran. Locusts will also eat apples, lettuce & cabbage. For water provide a shallow container (e.g. jam jar lid or Petri dish) containing wet absorbent cotton wool. Keep warm, ideally around 30°C.
