These simple reusable plastic dispensers are manual devices for the application of antibiotic discs onto the agar surface in a petri dish. They can be used with all Darwin's antibiotic disc cartridges. Antibiotic discs can be used without ejectors, however they are often fiddly and there is an increased chance of contamination.
